31,500 housing units will be completed in fiscal 2019/’20

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: Deputy Director General for Planning and Design at the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) Engineer Nasser Khuraibet disclosed that 31,500 housing units are to be completed for fiscal year 2019/2020, which include 28,288 housing units in Al-Metla’a area and 3,260 in South Abdullah Al-Mubarak, reports Al-Qabas daily.

In a letter to the Undersecretary at Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which the daily obtained a copy, Al-Khuraibet pointed out that the first batch of 9796 housing units will be handed over in Al-Metla’a area, and subsequent batches of 12,177 and 6,342 will be delivered in July and November respectively, while building units in South Abdullah Al-Mubarak will be distributed next May
