KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested three expatriate pharmacists working in a hospital for selling false prescriptions and falsifying sick leaves, reports Al-Qabas daily.

A security source said the men were arrested when CID men put the suspects under surveillance and sent a secret agent and caught one of the pharmacists red-handed while selling prescriptions and three days sick leave for 10 dinars.

During interrogation the pharmacist admitted to the charge and gave the names of two other men. Police found in the car of the pharmacist sick leaves letters. The three men have been referred to the authorities
