KUWAIT, May 7: The Kuwait Ministry of Health reported, Thursday, 278 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 6,567 Deaths reached 44 with 2 new cases.
Nationals infected were 80 Indians, 60 Kuwaitis, 41 Bangladeshis and 34 Egyptians and the rest other nationalities
Areas which infections were detected Farwaniya 97, Hawally 56, Ahmadi 55, Capital 50, Jahra 20 cases
During its daily briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad added that 91 patients were in intensive care with 39 critical cases.
Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 4,142 patients, said the spokesperson.
Earlier Minster of Health, Dr. Basel Al Sabah stated 162 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the tally to 2,381.
