2 Bangladeshis confess killing Kuwaiti, could face death sentence by hanging

KUWAIT CITY, March 7: The Public Prosecutor has remanded the two Bangladeshis who are suspected of killing the Kuwaiti, identified only as A.H., to police custody for 21 days pending thorough investigation into the case, reports Al-Anba daily.

They are currently being held in the Central Prison and face the charge of premeditated murder which carries the death penalty by hanging. A security source said the suspects have confessed in detail the crime they have committed in front of the Public Prosecutor in the belief the victim had with him large sums of money.

They explained in detail how they killed the victim using a hammer inside a camp owned by the victim with three blows to the head.

They added, they carried his remains in the car and burned it at a distance after pouring petrol on the corpse. Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were able to arrest the suspects inside a scrap yard in record time after finding the corpse.

The CID men found in the possession of the suspects the victim’s ATM card and the jerry can in which they carried the petrol.

They said they found with the victim 120 dinars which they shared among them. They also said they were planning to fl ee the country but they were caught in record time. They said they set fire to the corpse in the belief
