187 high school graduates of both genders to be hired as customs inspectors

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Director General of General Customs Department Consultant Jamal Aljelawi approved the appointment of 187 high school graduates of both genders as customs inspectors following the completion of customs inspection course, reports Al-Rai daily.

This approval was based on a recommendation from the interviews committee of the customs department to allow high school graduates to undergo the customs inspection course with the cooperation of Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) based on the announced conditions. A reliable source from the department affirmed that the admission of these graduates in the new course was based on the need for customs, tests and standards conducted by the concerned interviews committee.
