KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: Kuwait listed 578 new coronavirus infections and 2 virus- related deaths reported taking the total to 158,822 and 950 respectively, the health ministry said. The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 5,936, with 53 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who revealed that some 8,845 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1,415,197.
