KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- Two buses packed with passengers slammed into one another Sunday, leaving at least 15 people dead and four others wounded, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said. Four other people remain trapped in the vehicles following the collision, a KFSD statement revealed.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced that the buses were transporting employees of contracting firms that work for the company when the crash occurred near Burgan oil field. In a statement to KUNA, KOC pointed out that medical emergency teams responded promptly to the incident, promising more details on the tragedy as they become available.
