KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior said 475 juveniles have been arrested over a period of three days for driving without license from Oct 21-23 (both days inclusive), reports Al-Rai daily. The daily said, this comes within efforts of the Ministry of Interior represented by traffic, operations and public security to control outlaws and violators of traffic rules and regulations, and drawing the attention of citizens and residents to taking care of their children and discourage them from driving without a license.

The GTD sources pointed out parents bear the responsibility because they will be charged with negligence if their children are caught driving without a license since they not only endanger the lives of other road users but also can serious harm to themselves and will be legally held accountable. The GTD called on parents to cooperate with the security agencies and keep their children under their watchful eye and educate them about the dangers of driving vehicles without a driver’s license. The residents and citizens are called upon to contact the emergency number (112) or WhatsApp 99324092 if they see anything unusual to protect lives and public and private property.
