Yoga event soon after necessary permits obtained

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 7: Yoga event organizer Iman Al-Husseinan has confirmed that the event will push through as the necessary permits have been obtained, explaining the event was suspended earlier due to the failure to get permits from the competent authorities,” reports Al-Jarida daily. In a recent press conference, Al-Husseinan pointed out the Constitution guarantees the freedom of individuals from all walks of life. She affirmed the event that she intends to organize is within the framework of sports and it has nothing to do with religious rites.

She added the event will be strictly for females only, while stressing the need to refrain from dragging politics into people’s personal affairs. She said people should be given the freedom to engage in any sports activity they love.
