Wrong date stamped on passports of departing passengers report denied

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: The Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) denied point blank reports in social media that a plane that was to take off for Bahrain was delayed at the Kuwait International Airport because the authorities had allegedly stamped the passports of the departing passengers with the wrong date, reports Al-Jarida daily. The sources told the daily the incident happened yesterday and the passport employee allegedly instead of June 6 had stamped the passports with May 4 and that the mistake was discovered by the security personnel at the Kuwait airport before the plane took off, the departure date was corrected for everyone, and the plane took off to Bahrain without any problem.
