Woman among 3 caught drunk

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: Police have detained for interrogation three young people – two men and a woman – for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily. The arrest came after the man behind the wheel lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier at dawn.

When the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police and paramedics rushed to the spot, pulled the trio out of the car and gave them first aid because they refused to go to a hospital. Police discovered they were under the influence of alcohol and during interrogation the trio said they were at a party and when one of the party goers started flirting with the woman with them, they were involved in a fight and they left the party early.

The man behind the wheel said he does not know what happened and that he suddenly swerved to his left to avoid colliding with another vehicle. They have been detained for interrogation.
