KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Essam Al-Neham praised the efforts of securitymen in maintaining security and protecting properties, highlighting their readiness and vigilance to thwart attempts to undermine security and stability of citizens and expatriates while affirming the need to apply the law on everyone.

Al-Neham made the statement during his inspection tour of the security checkpoints in Khairan on Saturday to ensure readiness of security bodies to maintain peace and security in the country. This comes within the framework of his visits to various ministry sectors that continued during Eid Al-Adha holidays.

He conveyed the greetings of Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah to the affiliates of the sector on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, wishing them all the best in their works and missions. He also visited Dhaher, Fintas and Mina Abdullah police stations where he checked security procedures and mechanisms. He urged the securitymen to exert more efforts in maintaining peace and security for citizens and expatriates in Khairan Chalets Area where they spend their holidays during Eid Al-Adha or weekends. He visited entertainment places and complexes to look into the security, traffic and precautionary measures, and securitymen assigned in these places to ensure peace and security for the public. He met a number of citizens and expatriates, during which he listened to their needs and demands, as well as their security proposals. He assured them that the security institution is ready to foil attempts to undermine the security and stability of the country.
