Violators of Cabinet decision to be dealt firmly

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23:  The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Issam Al-Naham, chaired a security meeting at the Ministry of Interior headquarters today  in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Faraj Al-Zoubi, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Muhammad Al-Sharhan  to follow up on the implementation of the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers to prevent gatherings and celebrations of national holidays during the official holidays.

During the meeting, security deployment of plans  was discussed  in all parts of the country during official holidays from 25th February to 28th February.  Lieutenant General Al-Naham warned on dealing firmly and taking legal measures on violators of Cabinet Ministers decision.

All commercial activities to be shut from 8 pm to  5 am in order to prevent gatherings in private and public places including diwaniyas, main roads and interior roads, as government decision is to safeguard health of citizens and expats.

Security officers were briefed on to cooperate and coordinate with each other to secure hotels which have been set for institutional quarantine for returning Kuwaiti citizens from abroad, reports Al Anba. He stressed the need to work in a team spirit to protect the health system in the country and to be on complete readiness and be on constant vigil to impose the law and deal firmly with any negative phenomena.
