KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: The Commercial Court of First Instance has nullified a contract between a Kuwaiti man and a real estate company for the purchase of a villa in Alexandria, considering the deal as non-existence while ordering the company to refund KD 25,000 with KD 10,000 compensation for moral and material damages, says Al-Seyassah.

Representing the plaintiff, Lawyer Abdul-Mohsen Al-Qattan said his client reached an agreement with the company to construct a villa on a piece of land in Alexandria Desert, — in line with laid down conditions and specifications.

The cost of project was valued at KD 16,000 and the man paid KD 4,000 in advance and the remaining KD 12,000 on five installments. The project was to be handed over two years after the date the advance payment was made. The man executed all his part of the deal but the company did not deliver the project until the date of filing the case.
