Chairman of Kuwait Trade Union Federation (KTUF) Salem Al-Ajmi is in awe of threats some individuals have been making to file complaints with international organizations against the State of Kuwait.

He added such steps should not be taken by any honorable citizen irrespective of their conflict with the local authorities. He made the disclosure Tuesday morning at a sit-in organized by the federation and several other syndicates in front of the Manpower Public Authority in Jabriya in support of the bylaw endorsed by the union, and which Manpower Authority approved recently.

He stressed the bylaw is in line with international conventions and labor law approved after several requests by workers. He added the federation organized the sit-in to break monopoly and press for the right of all members to run in the General Assembly elections.
