KUWAIT CITY, June 30: The Court of Cassation sentenced two visa traders to one year in prison with hard labor for defrauding Egyptians and Indians by bringing the latter to Kuwait for KD1,500 each, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Ministry of Interior referred the accused to the Public Prosecution after investigations, as they were proven to have brought expatriate workers to the country in exchange for a large amount without giving them employment. The prosecution charged them with human trafficking, forgery and violation of the Labor Law.
