Two shipping companies shut for facilitating smuggling of ration food

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry with coordination of the General Administration of Customs  shutdown two shipping companies having import and export licenses for facilitating smuggling of ration (subsidized) food out of Kuwait.

The Ministry has warned not to smuggle ration food out of Kuwait as the ministry is keeping strict watch and all appropriate and punitive measures will be taken against those who violate the law. The violators will be referred to the prosecution.
