Two Kuwaiti women, 2 Egyptian men fight in separate incidents

KUWAIT CITY, June 8: Two Kuwaiti women were involved in a fist fight in a suburb of Ahmadi because one of them had blocked the car of the other and had to wait for a long time before she came out of the neighbor’s house, reports Al-Rai daily.

The incident happened on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. The woman was very annoyed because the one who had blocked her car had left no note or telephone number so that she could contact her. After the woman came out they were reportedly involved in a heated argument.

The woman who had blocked the car said she was in a hurry and only went to offer Eid congratulations to one of her relatives who live next door. According to a security source, the discussion developed into an exchange of insult and beatings between the two women. Both have filed complaints at the area police station. Meanwhile, two Egyptians have been arrested and referred for interrogation for involving in a fist fight in one of the coffee shops in Hawalli, reports Al-Rai daily.

This happened after an Egyptian woman called one of her friends and told him someone was harassing her because she delayed in paying him back his money. The man took details of the man and a meeting was arranged near a café in Hawalli. After meeting both men were involved in an argument and the person whom the woman owed money insisted on getting his money saying he had given the woman enough time to pay him. The argument ended in a fist fight in front of the people inside the coffee shop.
