Travel ban imposed on 130 bedoun

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: The Ministry of Interior has circulated the names of 130 bedoun to all land and sea ports to prevent them from leaving the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to security sources the men carry Article 17 passports. Strict instructions have been issued by the Ministry of Interior to arrest the men upon arrival if they are outside the country or prevent them from leaving if they are inside the country.

Pursuant to these security instructions, the General Administration of Ports Security has been given instructions to seize the passports of these men and refer them for interrogation. According to the sources, the instructions only say the passport must be withdrawn and the holder to be asked to check with the security authorities.
