Three Hezbollah financers released on bail, travel ban imposed

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: The Public Prosecution released three main defendants in the case of financing the Lebanese Hezbollah on bail of KD5,000 with a travel ban, reports Al-Anba daily. This decision was taken when the defendants’ lawyer submitted a request to release them after their detention for more than two and a half months.

peaking to the daily, lawyer for the accused— Ali Al-Sabri — disclosed that the request for the release of his clients is a confirmation that they did not commit any crime. He said his clients have been publicly collecting funds for years for a charitable society, not for sabotage purposes; and the papers proved that they were not involved in any criminal act
