Theft mystery solved – Man held with drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: A Kuwaiti man was apprehended by Ahmadi security operatives in Fahaheel area in possession of illicit drugs. The citizen was driving a Japanese-made vehicle when he aroused suspicion of security operatives and he was stopped for checking. They found hashish stuffed in a piece of cigarette, shabu and tools for administering drugs while searching his vehicle. He was referred to Drug Prosecution. Meanwhile, a Syrian expatriate involved in three criminal offenses and evading a prison sentence was arrested by Jahra Security Men and referred to Sentences Enforcement Department.

36 cars stolen: Mystery was solved as a Bedoun man was arrested in connection with 36 stolen vehicles. An Interior Ministry press released stated the suspect specialized in stealing vehicles using master key. He later damaged the content and abandoned the vehicles at parking lots or behind houses. He admitted stealing 36 vehicles from different parts of Farwaniya governorate when the police nabbed him. Apparently, he had been placed on surveillance for three weeks prior to his arrest. He was referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
