IF THERE is consensus in the region on terrorism being a ghoul that devours everyone, why don’t countries, which are keen on providing bloody meals to this savage, kill it and get rid of it? Are they doing this to protect their interests or they have become tools for dividing the region — the goal of Israel and United States of America for decades?

David Ben-Gurion, the founder of Israel’s nuclear project, did not invent the atom when he said during the opening ceremony of Dimona reactor in 1963 that “the strength of Israel is not in its nuclear weapon, but in taking the war inside three powerful Arab nations — Egypt, Syria and Iraq. By tearing them apart, Israel will prevail over the entire region.” These words have been and continue to be the basis of Israel’s mentality in dealing with the Arab world.

Former US President Richard Nixon’s administration did not create a miracle when then Secretary of State Henry Kissinger changed his country’s game plan in the region after the regional countries announced their decision to stop supplying oil to the Western world in 1973.

The US and its allies planned to neutralize these Arabian powers by finding a weak front on the side of the Gulf where they toppled Shah Muhammad Reza Bahlawi in 1979 and replaced him with Ayatollah Khomeini as well as those with him among the Mullahs who made their first and last slogan as ‘exporting revolution to the GCC countries.’ This was in line with the goal of the US at the time, as it invested in the development of the region for about two decades.

For the past 37 years, Iran has been sinking in the ocean of stirring creedal and sectarian seditions in the region. It has sponsored gangs and militias to follow their objective. Iran went into a battle with Iraq for eight years, during which millions of Iran-Iraq victims fell and enormous wealth disappeared.

However, in the end, it found itself consuming a poisonous drink through its agreement with the United Nations Security Council’s ceasefire resolution. Instead of restructuring what was tampered with and reconstruct what was destroyed, it attempted to execute its projects though any channel. It started with moving gangs to several countries in the Arab world, through explosions and assassinations, in addition to instigating sectarian fanaticism.

The magic has backfired on the magician, such that the US administration alongside Israel started executing the plan to divide the Arab world by using their usual and historical tool — the Mullah regime. Hammers of division have been raised to break the wall of Iran either in Baluchistan, Kurdistan or Ahwaz. At the same time, the Revolutionary Guard continues to be involved deeply in spilling Arab blood from Yemen to Lebanon.

Turkey, which has been swayed by the ‘Brotherhood’ magic, is not far from the US-Israeli project so it is not better off since it has become a party to the war by prioritizing the group’s choices over the higher national interest. The situation has dragged Turkey into the civil war in Syria and Iraq, while being consumed by the fire of interference.

It is unfortunate that countries which should be regional power blocs are being transformed by political foolhardiness into tools for the US-Israeli project. They waste their resources in fighting on behalf of Ben-Gurion’s descendants to split Arab countries, which are capable of escaping from the terrorism bogey through the wisdom of their leaders. This is the situation in GCC countries and Egypt which invented an effective medicine to get rid of the so-called ‘Arab Spring’ cancer.

If Tehran and Ankara are truly striving to preserve their entities from breakdown, worries and civil wars, there is no alternative to remorse and admission of their craziness in pushing for the revolution export project. They should stop interfering in the affairs of Arabs, while being committed in addressing issues affecting their citizens and to resolve crises that have been snowballing into gunpowder entangled by the rage of citizens who want revenge.

As for the latter, since it has compromised many of its rights to make peace with Israel and Russia, is it not better to also remove its ‘Brotherhood’ hands from Arab countries, especially Egypt? In this manner, it will be able to form a stronger Islamic force with Saudi Arabia and Egypt in order to challenge the US-Israeli project to divide the region. The same force can defeat terrorism that has been wearing a fake Islamic toga while committing certain acts. Islam shall remain innocent until the Day of Reckoning.
