Teenage girl kidnapped in front of a hotel by trio, raped in captivity for one day

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Three men have been referred to the Public Prosecutor for allegedly kidnapping an 18-year-old girl from in front of a hotel in the Hawalli governorate, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the account of the incident given by the victim the three men forced her into the car when she was passing by a hotel in Hawalli, and drove her to ‘someone’s’ house in the area, sexually assaulted, held her captive for one day against her wishes and then returned her to the place from where they had kidnapped her.

In the meantime, when the girl failed to return home the parents filed a missing persons report at a police station in the Mubarak Al- Kabir governorate. The arrest came after the victim gave description of the suspects and showed the place where she was held captive.
