Take action against ‘shady’ parties in Salwa, MoI urged

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Head of the National Public Movement and Head of Labor Union in the private sector Saud Al-Hejelan requested the government, represented by Ministry of Interior and State Security Department, to intervene immediately to eradicate the current trend of suspicious parties being held in Salwa area during the holy month of Ramadan. He revealed that the residents of the area have been complaining about such parties occurring in some houses.

In a press release, Al-Hejelan explained that such parties disturb the people of the area when they are performing prayers. There is no authority that can take action against the organizers of the parties who believe they are above the law. He urged the concerned authorities to take urgent necessary action.
