KUWAIT CITY, July 25: Contracting companies found to have violated the regulation on providing specialized and trained laborers continue to participate in the implementation of public and private construction projects.
This came after the safety and inspection teams at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) monitored the activities of various companies , reports Al- Qabas daily. Sources disclosed the inspection visits of the abovementioned teams resulted in the arrest of six workers including some who are under domestic worker visa, a shepherd, a farmer and some private sector employees found to be working in a government project.
Sources confirmed that the teams handed over the apprehended workers to the relevant inspection department, while the domestic workers were referred to the Ministry of Interior for deportation and other necessary measures
