Sri Lankan Maid aborts baby; Dead sheep meat sold

KUWAIT CITY, July 19: A 46-year-old Sri Lankan housemaid was rushed to the hospital after aborting her baby in the bathroom of her sponsor’s house in Sabahiya, reports Al-Anba daily. The housemaid admitted to having illegitimate relation with a compatriot and police are now looking for him.

Dead sheep meat sold: Jahra police arrested two Asians for selling meat of dead sheep to a well-known restaurant in the governorate, reports Al-Shahed daily. The two Asians rode on a pickup which transported meat of dead sheep and admitted that they have an agreement with the restaurant for supplying it with meat. The Asians said they used to prepare the meat for kabab by adding spices and other substances and sell it at a very cheap price.
