Social media usage – ‘Some professors lack knowledge’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Head of Information Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Kuwait University Dr Sultan Al-Daihani is troubled by lack of knowledge among some professors on using the websites and social media for scientific purposes, reports Al-Qabas daily.
He pointed to a recent study he conducted on the essence of communicating with specialists in all fields using information technology, and also recommended training programs by the academic library to increase awareness in that regard.
