Smuggling attempt of 18 kgs of Captagon pills from Lebanon to Kuwait foiled

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: The Internal Security Forces at Rafik Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital of Beirut recently arrested a Gulf citizen who tried to smuggle more than 18 kilograms of Captagon pills into the State of Kuwait, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The concerned authorities are currently conducting intensive investigations in this regard. Information gathered so far revealed that the suspect is a Saudi citizen identified only as A.S. Security sources in Kuwait confirmed that the arrested person is residing in the country, and he currently employed at the Public Relations and Security Media General Department in the Ministry of Interior.
