Six Syrian and Jordanian women beggars held

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23 : Personnel from the Ahmadi Security Directorate have arrested six women — Syrian and Jordanian — for begging for alms in different parts of the Ahmadi governorate, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The arrest came after Brigadier Abdullah Al-Mullah received information on the activity of the beggars following which a directive was issued to arrest them. They were picked up from different areas — cooperative societies, commercial markets and hospitals.
