Sister’s throat slit; Death in kin killing

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: The Court of Cassation has sentenced to death the murderer of his sister in Taima, who reportedly surrendered to the security men at the crime scene after the incident was reported to police, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the testimony of the victim’s family the accused had detained his sister inside the house for more than a month due to disagreements between them.

When the accused was confronted by the prosecutor in his family’s house in the Taima area, he confessed to killing his sister by slitting her throat with a knife and handed over the knife to the security authorities. He was then arrested and referred to the judicial authorities.
