Shortage of nurses urges MoH to exempt nurses from employment requirements

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Ministry of Health has requested Civil Service Commission (CSC) to exempt nurses from employment requirements, reports Al-Qabas daily.

In a letter sent to CSC, the ministry said it is in the process of opening new schemes and expanding existing schemes due to which it is in dire need for nursing staff who graduate from Kuwait Nursing Institute or Faculty of Health Sciences in the Public Authority of Applied Education and Training (PAAET), or Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences in Kuwait University.
