Shops and businesses operating without license in Jleeb

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19:   The Public Authority for Manpower along with  Kuwait Municipality carried out an inspection campaign in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh area on violators of labor law who sell in unlicensed stores, such as groceries, waste sorting sites and bakeries and stores who do not adhere to health requirements. The team was able to apprehend number of violators of labor law.


There has been a large number of violations in that area as most of the workers work in the shops that do not have any license to operate. The workers who have been arrested will be referred to the competent authorities  and the files of the employers who have registered that employment will be suspended and official measures will be taken against them reports Al Rai.  The authority will suspend the files and put the code 73 until the worker is deported.  The file will be reopened upon confirmation of actual activity.

The head of the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh municipality center, Hatem Al-Rashidi, said that the violations of operating a store without a license were sealed by the municipality, the violation of 3 vendors for selling iron, copper and aluminum scrap, two violations of waste sorting, in addition to a bakery violation were issued.

The real estate violations will be transferred to the legal department in the municipality, where the violation number of the property registered with the Public Authority for Civil Information were photographed, in order to address cut off the electricity power of the violating property.
