Schools near public hospitals to house nurses

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: The Ministry of Public Works is coordinating with its education counterpart in arranging schools near public hospitals in various residential areas to serve as accommodation for the nursing staff, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources explained this will prevent interaction between the medical staff and workers in big residential areas during this period. Sources also affirmed the formation of teams from the ministries of Health, Education and Public Works, and other concerned authorities, to study all options and the mechanisms in order to ensure the allotted schools are fully ready to receive the nurses.

Meanwhile, the Directorate-General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry stated that, two new facilities will be opened to receive the residence law violators of all nationalities who want to leave the country without paying fines, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added, one of the facilities will be Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and will be open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The female violators of the law will be received at the Rufaida Al-Islamiya Elementary School for Girls, Block (4) Street (200), and the center for men has been opened at the Naeem Bin Masoud Elementary School for Boys, Block (4) Street (250).
