Saudi Arabia’s records 52 deaths, over 4,033 infections due to coronavirus

RIYADH, April 11: Saudi Arabia’s ministry of health said Saturday deaths resulting from coronavirus has risen to 52 and infections to 4,033.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdulaali said in a press briefing five new deaths resulting from the virus increased fatalities to 52.
He added that 382 people tested positive for the virus to make the total at 4,033 cases.
Al-Abdulaali added 67 cases are in critical conditions, while the number of recovery cases reached 720, after confirming the recovery of 35 cases in the kingdom.

Qatar

Up to 216 persons were diagnosed of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 20 cases recovered, Qatari Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
The ministry said in a statement number of persons who contracted the contagious virus reached 2,728, including Qataris who returned from abroad and were quarantined. Other cases in the tally belonged to persons who were within close proximity with these returnees.
Newly diagnosed patients have been quarantined to get prescribed medical treatment.
Moreover, the health ministry declared recording 20 recovery cases raising the total number of the recuperated individuals to 247

Oman

The Sultanate of Oman announced, Saturday, the discovery of 62 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections to 546.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the number of cases recovering from the coronavirus was at 109 with three deaths.

UAE

The UAE announced 376 new cases of coronavirus, on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 3,736. The new coronavirus cases are of various nationalities, all of whom are in a stable condition and receiving the necessary care.

The UAE health sector, said in a virtual press briefing that 170 patients have made a full recovery after receiving the necessary treatment, taking to 588 the total number of recoveries.

Bahrain

The Bahraini Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 73 new infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), in addition to a further 12 recoveries.
The new infections include 72 expat workers and a case which has recently arrived back home from abroad, the ministry said in a press statement on its twitter account.
Thus, the Kingdom’s total number of confirmed infections with the globally spreading respiratory disease has risen to 551, while 441 patients are still receiving medication, it added.
