Safa Al Hashim: “Thank you for stopping flights from 7 countries”

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 07: MP Safa al-Hashim praised the suspension of flights to and from 7 countries (Egypt, Philippines, Syria, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India) due to fear of spread of coronavirus.

Al-Hashim said, “Thank you … word is not sufficient for you to the council of Ministers and the Prime Minister who took courageous decision to stop all flights from endemic countries.”

She further stated that “Tomorrow, I will present a proposal to form a higher health council headed by the Minister of Health in which he will exercise his powers during epidemics or outbreaks of infection”.

She further state that “Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim played a crucial and decisive role protect the people of Kuwait to stop all arrivals from endemic countries.”

She said that the Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim is a good listener who listens to every proposal and coordinated with the Prime Minister and the council of ministers, may God bless you, and may God protect us from this crisis. (Al Rai)
