Runaway Syrian girl found – Iranian arrested for sheltering

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: The Hawalli police have arrested an unidentified young Iranian for sheltering a runaway Syrian girl, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspect was arrested in Salmiya when a frightened looking girl, who is believed to be in her late teens, was walking alongside the Iranian. Police stopped the couple and demanded to see their IDs. Police discovered the girl was reported absconding by her family. They have been referred for interrogations.
