Returning Egyptians cost cut by 75%

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: Tourism expert Kamal Kabsha said the cost for Egyptians returning to their country from Kuwait decreased by about 75 percent, as the flight and compulsory health quarantine package now costs KD 250 compared to KD 1,000 when the tourism and travel companies and offices started offering such package.

In a statement Kabsha enumerated five main reasons behind the price decline as follows: the Kuwaiti civil aviation authorities’ decision to allow departure flights for expats and their Egyptian counterparts’ decision to allow their citizens to return on board the special flights, competitive market data released by travel and tourism companies for their services which are available at varying rates to attract customers, reduction of health quarantine period from 14 days to seven days, flight options and diversity of hotel rates in Egypt.
