‘Report for military duty’ – ‘No escape’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Director General of Investigation Major General Fahd Al-Dosari stated the General Investigation Department has started looking into cases related to compulsory military service referred by Head of Military National Service at the Ministry of Defense, according to Law No. 20/2015.

In a press statement, Al-Dosari called on all citizens to facilitate the registration of their children reaching the legal age for military service to avoid legal action.

Under the patronage of Major General Dr Fahd Al-Dosari and in the presence of the Deputy Director General for Investigation Affairs Jamal Al- Riesh, Special Misdemeanor Prosecutor Wafa’a Al-Mulla, and Public Prosecutor Muntaha Al-Hajri, offices were launched at the premises of Private Misdemeanor Sector of the General Investigation Department in Salmiya to investigate cases of compulsory military service (conscription).

Major General Al-Dosari noted investigations will be conducted at the offices in Salmiya until the permanent site in Eqaila is ready, indicating the permanent site will be located at the premises of the Military National Service Institute.
