CCTV traps ‘photographers’

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: Some people dared to take photographs of the motorcade of HH the Amir prior to his departure to the United States for medical check, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, as the Amir arrived at the airport to leave for the US aboard the US Air Force plane which was especially sent to Kuwait to take HH the Amir to the US, a video clip of the motorcade of the Amir went viral in the social media prior to the departure of the plane.

When the concerned authorities checked the CCTV footage of the cameras installed at the airport, two people were seen filming the entourage – a protection officer and a member of the ruling family. While the Ministry of the Interior has taken punitive measures against the officer, it is not yet clear what action the MOI has taken against the member of the ruling
