Professors file complaints to Anti-Corruption Authority
KUWAIT CITY, April 8: Some professors have requested the Anti- Corruption Authority to open an investigation into the issue of fake certificates and forged researches, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to academic sources, two professors have filed complaints — one of them concerning fake certificate of an unidentified official and the other is related to scientific promotions through questionable research in a college. The sources revealed other professors are in the process of filing their complaints.
The sources indicated the Authority has begun looking into a number of complaints and is soon expected to request the educational institutions to submit documents to continue the investigation that may require issuing summons to some senior officials.
