Probe on as Kuwaiti woman dies in fall from building

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department are trying to solve the mystery death of a Kuwaiti woman who is believed to be in her 40s and who reportedly fell to her death from the roof of a 10-floor residential building in Fintas, reports Al-Rai daily. When police were informed about the incident, paramedics and CID personnel rushed to the building and found the woman sprawled in the building compound in a pool of blood. The caretaker of the building said neither he nor the tenants know the victim. Police found some belongings of the victim and her civil ID, on the roof.

Death by hanging: A 52-year-old Egyptian reportedly ended his life by hanging himself with a rope tied in the ceiling of his room in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh, reports Al-Rai daily. In a statement to the police the man’s roommate said when he came home from work he saw the corpse of the victim dangling from a rope.A case of suicide has been registered against the victim. Police are conducting investigations.

3 tents stolen: An unknown individual stole three tents, an electricity generator and a TV in Kabad desert area, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti citizen informed securitymen of Kabad Police Station that he had looked for these items but was unable to find them. Securitymen examined the location and officers from the General Department of Criminal Evidences lifted fingerprints to identify the suspect. Investigations have been launched. Meanwhile, an officer of Ministry of Defense has filed a case at Jahra Police Station against an unknown individual who stole his vehicle from the parking area of a mosque near his house. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspect.
