Policeman shot at – Hunt for suspect

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are looking for an unidentified person who allegedly attempted to kill a policeman while he was on his way to work at the Kabad outpost, reports Al- Rai daily.

The victim in his complaint to the Ahmadi Police Station said he saw from the rear view mirror someone chasing him and after catching up with him fired two shots from a shot gun.

Both the bullets hit the driver’s seat. The suspect then escaped from view but not before the victim had noted down the car plate number. Police are investigating to know if the policeman had enmity with anyone.
