Philippines welcomes Kuwait’s efforts to bridge Gulf rift

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9: Philippines welcomed on Wednesday the statement of Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah regarding the Gulf crisis.

“We welcome the statement of Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry of the positive developments of lifting sanctions on Qatar”, the Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The Filipino Foreign Ministry stressed on its stance on calling for peace and stability in the region, supporting the efforts of Kuwait, the United States, and the international community in boosting fruitful cooperation between Qatar and its neighbours. (KUNA)
