Yesterday, the Ministry called for the necessity to follow security measures related to air safety, stressing that those who violate this will be subject to legal accountability.

This came after the country over the past few days saw amateur paragliders in Al- Subbiya and Khairan, which prompted the Ministry of Defense to warn the paragliding enthusiasts to get prior permission from the concerned authorities.

In a related context, a security source told the Al-Seyassah daily that the Ministry of Interior forbids the use of drones in all places and locations except with prior permission, stressing that the legal measures will be taken against the violators of the laws which are in force.
