KUWAIT CITY, April 11: Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Manfuhi announced the formation of a quintuple committee that includes the Municipality, ministries of Interior, Health, Electricity and Water, and the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), to follow up the issue of bachelors who left Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula hours before the implementation of the decision to fully lockdown both areas as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Manfouhi confirmed “the Municipality monitoring bodies are in a state of complete mobilization to ensure these bachelors return to the two areas and the committee will carry out the procedures entrusted to them.
PAM will work during the campaigns to identify the sponsors of these bachelors, while the Ministry of Health will examine them to ensure they are not infected with the virus.” He added that he issued instructions on the necessity to intensify inspection campaigns and focus on each of the areas in Jahra Governorate, as well as homes in Wafra, Fahaheel and its vicinity.
