Chief of the Pakistani Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi during his visit to the naval baseKUWAIT CITY, March 19: Chief of the Pakistani Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi visited on Monday Sabah Al-Ahmad Naval Base where he was received by Interior Ministry’s Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Border Security Affairs Vice Admiral Mubarak Al-Omairi.The two sides discussed issues of joint interest and boosting cooperation between the Kuwaiti and Pakistani coast guards. Admiral Abbasi, who examined the radar system room, was briefed about tactics of aborting infiltrations via the sea, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior. The statement quoted Admiral Abbasi as expressing admiration at the accuracy and effectiveness of the used equipment and technologies at the naval base. (KUNA)
