KUWAIT CITY, April 1: A Pakistani expatriate was arrested for forging official documents, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior explained that officers from General Department for Residency Affairs suspected a company that has been issuing commercial visas to a large number of individuals.

Investigations revealed that four commercial visas were issued without the knowledge of the owner of the company, which raised further doubts as she has the sole authority to sign on documents of her company and has not given power of attorney to anyone.

Securitymen checked the applications to discover that a Pakistani employee used to sign on the documents and would request the company’s mandoup (representative) to follow up the visa procedures. The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
