Pakistani girl, Egyptian woman attempt suicide – Police probe death of 10-yr-old girl

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department are investigating the death of a 10-year-old Kuwaiti girl, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the family the girl was playing in the house and she tied one end of a rope around her neck and the other to the closet door and hung herself. As soon as the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received information on the death of the girl from the Jahra Hospital authorities, paramedics and police rushed to the spot and began interrogating the family members. The daily did not give more details.

Meanwhile, the remains of a 51-year-old Pakistani have been referred to the Forensic to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Anba daily. The doctors at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital said mystery surrounds the death of the victim. According to security sources, the Pakistani was rushed to the hospital by his relatives.

In another development, a young unidentified Egyptian woman attempted to end her life by consuming large quantities of medicine pills just because her mother snatched a cell phone from her hands, reports Al-Anba daily. She is receiving treatment at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital. A case of attempted suicide has been registered against her.

And, a 17-year-old Pakistani girl, who attempted to commit suicide by consuming big quantities of medicine pills, has been referred to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital, reports Al- Anba daily. According to reliable sources, the girl decided to end her life because the family for forcing her to marry the man she hates. A case of attempted suicide has been registered against her.
