Pakistan seeks to upgrade trade ties with Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Syed Sajjad Haider called on the Managing Director of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Ghanem Suleiman Al-Ghenaiman on Monday, Aug 30 , 2021. They discussed various means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the investments domain. During the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues concerning development of bilateral investment cooperation.

Ambassador Haider highlighted Pakistan’s narrative of geo-economics and emphasized that Pakistan seeks to leverage its geo-economics location to promote connectivity. The Ambassador also proposed to consider possible investment opportunities in various sectors including tourism, hospitality, real estate as well as investment in various Special Economic Zones (SEZ). Al-Ghenaiman appreciated the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and hoped for further solidifying ties , particularly in the field of trade and investment.
