One hurt in Farwaniya fire

Fire engulfed a flat in Farwaniya area, resulting in a tenant suffering from smoke inhalation.

According to a press release issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Control Room of KFSD received information about a flat on fire, firefighters rushed to the location to discover the flat is on the fourth floor of the building.

They evacuated all the tenants from the building and extinguished the fire within a short time.

One of the tenants suffered from smoke inhalation and was referred to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.

Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire.

Meanwhile, firemen were able to extinguish a fire that erupted in a vehicle in Jahra area after the Operations Room of the Fire Department received report about the incident. A case was registered.
